Can I take this course if I don’t have any previous art experience?

Absolutely! This course was created specifically for beginners with no previous art experience.

Do I have to join the Facebook group?

Joining the Facebook group is totally optional. While it is a safe and supportive space to connect with others and share your work, it is not necessary.

Is this course live or self-guided?

This is a self-guided course meaning you can do the course at your own pace and on your own time. There aren’t any live components to the course.

Do I need internet access to take this course?

Yes. You need internet access to take this course.

Is this class art therapy?

This course is not art therapy. While creating art and art journaling is inherently therapeutic, it is not therapy.

Do I need to purchase all of the supplies?

This is up to you. The supply list is a recommended list of the supplies I use in my practice. They are supplies that are easy to use and get started with but they are not all necessary all at once.

Is the information in the course dripped out or is everything accessible once I gain access?

Everything in the course is accessible once you gain access to the course.

Will I learn specific art techniques like how to paint pet portraits in this course?

No. This is not a technical art course. While you will learn different techniques for creating in your art journal, this is not a course on how to draw or paint specific objects.

What is lifetime access?

Lifetime access means that you will have access to the course for as long as my website is active.

Should I take this class if I’m an artist?

Sure! There are so many techniques offered in this course to try. They may enhance your current art practice or give you different ideas to try out.

What kind of art journal should I buy?

I recommend a 9x12 inch mixed media art journal. You can of course use a different size, but I recommend this for this course so you have plenty of room to create and so you can use wet or dry materials.

Making art doesn’t need to be complicated.
